JT Cantrell

JT Cantrell began his public service career in 1963 as a volunteer firefighter and joined the Arkansas Auxiliary Police (Civil Defense) in 1965. JT

worked briefly as a police cadet in 1966, then as an ambulance attendant and driver until 1967. He continued in EMS until 1968 when he began to work for the Arkansas State Police as a radio operator. JT worked as a Pulaski County Deputy Sheriff from 1969 through 1974 and joined the Little Rock Fire Department in 1974, retiring in 2009 as Assistant Chief and a Paramedic.
